Sunday, December 26, 2004, at approximately 1500 the hummer was at the
feeder and using various perches directly behind the feeder or closer to
the mall (to the right of the feeder). The hummer was vocal making a series
of sharp chip noises as it perched near the feeder.

Earlier, approximately 1400, we had visited the feed and did not see the
hummer but heard it.

My guess would be a Broad-trailed female, but that is but a guess.
