It was my turn to feed the Schoolhouse Pond meters from about 2 to 4 PM today
and I could not find anything that resembled a Mew Gull, or a
Kumlein's/Thayers. But there was an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull, a lonesome Shoveler and
2 Mute Swans. The list:

1 Laughing Gull
1000 Ring-billed Gulls (mostly adult/second year, only a hanful of first
year)
300 Herring Gulls (1/3 adult, 2/3 first winter)
1 Lesser Black-backed Gull
3 Great Black-backed Gulls (2 adult, 1 first year)
