Bob,
   I just returned from doing the Eastern Shore Christmas Bird Counts and was very interested in your Golden Eagle report.  However, your description of the bird as an immature without mentioning what I consider the most obvious field mark for immatures surprised me.  Also, you describe seeing the white in the wings only from above which is the opposite from what is seen in some immatures.  Do you have any other notes that convinced you that it was an immature Golden?  Thank you.
