Greetings,

Earlier this rainy morning, at Riviera Beach (which is just west of Fort
Smallwood),  I had a Long-tailed Duck.  Nice bird to start the day!
I got some digital shots of it too...I am an awful photographer but these
turned out okay.

Also, at Fort Smallwood, there was a large flight (maybe 3000 birds) of
Scaup sp. along with sea-borne Canvasback, Hooded Mergs, and Buffleheads.
Also a Red-breasted Nuthatch and a Brown Creeper were kind enough to show
themselves as the weather cleared.
