See Life Paulagics is running a pelagic trip on Saturday, Feb. 26 for winter
seabirds. We will be looking for Fulmar, Great Skua, Kittiwake, Red Phalarope,
Razorbill, Dovekie, Atlantic Puffin, other alcids, jaegers, Gannets, Kittiwake
and other gulls, whales, dolphins, and anything else we might come across. The
trip will run from 6:00 AM to about 5:00 PM, and the cost is $110.

We will be aboard the comfortable 85' Thelma Dale IV, a boat with a full
walk-around lower deck, upper deck, and heated cabin. The boat leaves out of
Fisherman's Wharf in Lewes.

There seems to be an inordinately large number of alcids in our area this
winter. There have already been 4 reports of Black Guillmot on the coast this
winter south of their usual range, including one at Montauk, NY, two at Avalon,
NJ and one in NC. Thick-billed Murre has also been reported as far south as NC,
and Common Murres have been reported in NY. Our Dec. 4 trip out of NJ had 32
Razorbills and 7 Puffins, our Dec. 11 trip out of Lewes had 25 Razorbills and a
Puffin, and our Dec. 31 trip out of NJ had nearly 90 Razorbills and 9 Dovekies.

This trip has sold out in the past. To ensure everybody's comfort, we will not
overfill the trip. If you are interested in going, please let us know. For
more information or to make a reservation, please contact us.
