    Hi everyone, I noticed a problem in the yellowthroat about our winter field trip. It should read-

North Central Maryland

Leaders: Jim Wilkinson and Bill Ellis

Meet at 32 /70 park and ride

Spend the day touring rural areas near Taneytown. NE Frederick County and fields south of Gettysburg, NE Carroll and York County PA possible spots we'll visit.

Farm fields, woodlots, streams, ponds and feeders will be visited.

Expected species are wintering hawks, waterfowl, sparrows, horned lark, pipit and red-headed woodpecker.

Chances for winter rarities including rough-legged hawk, short eared owl, shrikes and Lapland longspur.

We will plan a lunch break at a local restaurant.

Facility stops planned. Bring snacks, drinks and dress very warmly.

Walking will be moderate.
