Phil,

Just curious.  I understand from reading  the section about  finding 
owls in C. Wilds book about birding in and around DC, MD and VA that the 
location of certain types of owls should not be publicized.  Great Gray 
and Boreal owls are not even mentioned in her book ( I guess, because 
they're so unexpected in our parts).  Are sightings of these two owl 
species OK to publicize (with Steven Huy's cautions about respecting 
private property) on MDOsprey or the NAS Voice of Naturalist?
