Hello Brendan and list members,
Regarding Black Scoter in Europe. There is one at Llanfairfechan in North
Wales at the moment. This isn't the first time this species has been seen at
this locality, I saw the species myself a few years ago at the same place.
The interesting question is it the same bird? If so where does it go? Does
it follow the Common Scoters to their breeding grounds or does it head back
to the US?

All the best,
Eddie Chapman, Voss. Norway.
