Like Megan reported, I too had a Coopers Hawk at my feeder today. It
appeared to be an adult male which has been a regular around my feeders
along with a female Coopers and a Sharp-shinned. It killed a Mourning Dove
which was sitting on the ground. The dove hardly had a chance to move during
the attack. The hawk then took the dove to a nearby pine tree for dinner.

Other feeder snow birds which have been more fortunate than the dove are:

Dark-eyed Junco's - 50+

White-throated Sparrows - 2

Song Sparrows - 2

Cardinals - 6

Am. Goldfinch - 6

White-breasted Nuthatches - 2

Downey Woodpeckers - 5

Hairy Woodpecker - 1

Red-bellied Woodpecker - 1

Carolina Wren - 2

Tufted Titmice

Carolina Chickadees

Common Grackles - 10
