A quick run thru the many roads that have supported Pipits,Horned Larks,
Longspur's and Snow Buntings in the past, today produced surprisingly not much. On 213
just North of Cecilton 14 Savannah Sparrows, 2 Horned Larks and 1 Pipit. Rt
282 East towards Delaware, 1 Horned Lark, 2 Pipits and 5 Savannah Sparrows.
I am truly shock about how few field birds are on the sides of the roads feeding
in the plow scrapings in this area.
I did get a great shot of a Savannah Sparrow Digiscoping. That made the trip
worth while.
