One advantage to being stuck in the house - I've added a new gallery section
to hold the pictures I received from late November to date, although some
are historic photos.  Recent additions will be added to this section, in
date order, and those we will place in the main collection to build our
gallery of MD birds will be selected at the end of the year.  This is purely
for my convenience since it takes a bit of time to revise the main gallery
and I can get new photos up more quickly this way.  So..take a peak.  There
are some wonderful photos here, including incredible shots of the Calliope
Hummingbird, Cave Swallows and a Snowy Owl that braved the U.S. Naval Air
Force and showed the "false eyes" in the back of his head.  Many thanks to
Mike Bowen, Mark Hoffman, George Jett, Bob Mumford, Kyle Rambo, Gary Smyle,
and David Winer.  If you have photos you would like to add to either
section, please contact me off list.  One last note, please remember that
nearly ALL of these photos are copyrighted.  Honor the photographer, please.
If you wish to use a photo for a particular reason, get it touch with the
photographer.  The only photos that are not copyrighted are those submitted
by Gary Smyle.
