A trip through Blackhills Regional Park this afternoon yeilded the two
previously reported Eared Grebes. The birds were close to the pull out near
the bridge over the lake. Also present on the lake were many Pied-billed
Grebes and one Horned Grebe. Waterfowl included a pair of Greater Scaup,
Canvasback, Am. Wigeon, Common Mergansers, Goldeneye, and 4 Tundra Swans.
Gulls were coming in from a northwest dirrection, a dozen Herring Gulls, 1
Great Black-backed Gull, and many Ring-billed Gulls.
