The See Life Paulagics pelagic trip out of Lewes, DE on Saturday, Feb. 26 is
filling quickly. We will be searching for winter seabirds in both Delaware and
Maryland waters. With the influx of inshore alcid reports this winter,
particularly Thick-billed Murres and several Black Guillemots, we plan on
spending at least a little time working the Lewes Breakwater. The exact route
we take will depend upon reports, fishing boats, and water temperatures.

The trip will run from 6:00 AM to about 5:00 PM, and the cost is $110. We will
be aboard the comfortable 85' Thelma Dale IV, a boat with a full walk-around
lower deck, upper deck, and heated cabin. The boat leaves out of Fisherman's
Wharf in Lewes.

For those of you not following the action, we had 4 Thick-billed Murres on our
inshore pelagic out of Belmar, NJ this past Saturday. Up to 3 Thick-billeds
were found in Barnegat, NJ, one Thick-billed was seen from Henlopen, 2-3
Thick-billeds were just seen from the Cape May - Lewes Ferry, and a Black
Guillemot is hanging out at Indian River Inlet. Thick-billeds have been
reported as far south as South Carolina this winter.

To ensure everybody's comfort, we will not overfill the trip. If you are
interested in going, please let us know. For more information or to make a
reservation, please contact us. Hope to see you aboard!
