Hi

I went down to Ft. Mc Henry this morning to see the scoters (one out of
three isn't bad). I'll let Kevin Graff report on those birds. (He said he
was going to post his observations, and he saw more birds than I did.)

On my way home, I decided to stop at the trail at Loch Raven reservoir
between the boat launch and the gun club. Luckily, there was some open water
at the end of the trail.

Hooded Merganser - 2
Ring-necked Duck - 12
Redhead - 78 (!) This is the most Redheads I have ever seen in one place, I
think.
American Coot - 15
Turkey Vulture - 1
Black Vulture - 4
Red-tailed Hawk - 1
Red-shouldered Hawk - 1
Carolina Chickadee - 2
White-breasted Nuthatch - 1
