Greetings,

Last night, around dusk, my wife came in to say that as shee was driving
down the driveway a raptor had flown over the car and perched in a tree
over her car. I went out to check and found a large juvenile Red-
shouldered Hawk there. this bird was extremely large for a shouldered but
I am sure it was not a Red-tailed. any way I flushed the bird to another
tree where it cozied up to the trunk on a branch about 15 feet off the
ground. This morning when I was leaving for work around dawn I found the
same bird in the same spot as it was 13 hours prior! i found this pretty
neat!

Good Birding,

PS: This morning I also added Northern Cardinal to my list of early
singers. As I was getting in the car off in the woods I heard the
familiar "doit doit, dee dee dee dee" Spring is coming...
