My apologies for replying to the whole dang list when I should have 
backchanneled.
Done that a couple of times when I've been really tired.

I should at least mention one bird, shouldn't I, but I haven't had time
to see much, except for a red-tail circling in the dawn sky at
6:45 this morning. I don't think I've ever seen one soaring that early. Only
a couple of weeks ago it was dark enough that an owl flew in front
of the car. I had only a glimpse, but it wasn't very big, so I assume a screech
owl. On the way home today I saw a perched red tail with a
very dark, complete, and beautiful belly band.
