Hi,

Lisa and I met two friends from *whispers* New Jersey
at the Sandgates Restaurant. We watched the Kelp
Gull, on the pilings of the other restaurant, for at
least 15 minutes before it flew off and landed behind
a dock beyond that restaurant. We never did see it
again.

After lunch we went to Point Lookout State Park, where
we glimpsed a handful of White-winged Scoters among
the other two scoters, as well as other normal sea
ducks. In the pines by the campground we located some
Brown-headed Nuthatches and a Gray Catbird. An adult
Bald Eagle flew very close to the causeway.

A beautiful day
