Loch Raven 2/26/05

I was at the Loch Raven this morning, i checked out both bridge #1 and 
the area behind the skeet club. Very strong showing of both sparrows 
and waterfowl. Highlight was a tremendous number of Redhead, i 
conservatively estimate about 130.  Totals:
White Pines:
3 Eastern Towhee
Numerous Sparrows, several dozen white throated, song, dark eye junco, 
single field sparrow, single fox sparrow.
Downy Woodpecker
Red bellied Woodpecker
Barred Owl *(heard not seen)
Chickadees
Titmice
White Breasted Nuthatch
Red Breasted Nuthatch -1
Golden Crowned Kinglet
Northern Cardinal

Waterfowl
Redhead-130
American Coot-200
Common Loon- 5
Hooded Merganser-25
Wigeon- 20
Bufflehead-5
Mallard - 2
Common Merganser - 15
Red Breasted Merganser - 2

No grebes/scaups/red-throated loons/pintails/ruddy duck/ goldeneye
if anyone has seen strong number of these around Baltimore please post.
