Bob,
I heard a Killdeer calling at the Ag. Ctr./Farm Museum complex in
Carroll County, on Wednesday night, about 9:30 PM, February 23rd, after a
kennel club meeting. Sorry I didn't post. And this morning(3-08), in the
falling snow, a Flicker landed near my feeder and was poking around in the
ground right beside a Robin! Last night(3-07), just around dusk, I watched
a Cooper's Hawk make three attempts at catching different birds through the
woods and around my feeder, before he retired for the night, empty-beaked.
