While trying to see the Lapwing I met some wonderful birders , one of them '(excellent birder Winger West) invited me to a trip to Ocean City and Delaware on Monday , March 7 . What trip!! We saw a total 71 species and I pick up 16 new life birds and reached the 163 mark, including two Northern Gannets and the Eurasion Wigeon at the Eagles Landing Golf Course in O.C.!! :o)

I also found out about the Short-eared Owls and the Leucistic Red-Tailed Hawk at Gettysburg , PA and was able to enjoy watch them in action!!

It was very encouraging for a new birder like me to see this kind of support! Thank you " Lapwingers" :O)
