Spotty Sand and RN Grebe

On Thurs. a breeding plumaged Spotted Sandpiper was at milepost 21 on the Potomac, one mile downstream from Violette's lock, Montgomery Co. I have never seen one in March on the piedmont. The Red-necked Grebe was still present. Dave Czaplak
