I agree with Frank and to get the discussion back to Maryland, I will
give the Conowingo Dam as an example. Every time the threat level goes
up to orange, they close the parking area and inconvenience birders and
fisherman. In the meantime, they haven't stopped one car or truck from
going over the dam, not even right after 9/11, which is were I think the
real threat would occur.
Every time I see some formally public area closed for security reason, I
think, "The terrorists are winning."
"Those who surrender there liberties for security deserve neither." I
think Benjamin Franklin said that or something similar.
