I'm a (very) amateur photographer, but am starting to accumulate a nice portfolio of nature
photographs, mostly of regional butterflies and some birds.  While I have no desire to sell my
photos, I'd like to be able to copyright them before distributing them or posting them on websites
(I'd just like to get credit for the photos other folks think are good  or useful enough to pass
around!). Can any of you more experienced photographers tell me how to put a photo credit on
the bottom of a JPG or how to obtain a copyright? Please email me off-list with your replies:
