Yesterday, at the National Wildlife Visitor Center in Laurel, two TREE SWALLOWS were spotted flying overhead. With today's forecast of falling temperatures and possible snow, these birds may be wondering if they came a little too early!
Over the weekend, several KILLDEER were seen and HEARD throughout the day on Sunday.
They often "nest" on the flat pebbled roof of the visitor center.
