Hi all,
Went up to Greenbridge Rd. to see if the eagles were back at the nest in
Howard County. When I got to the edge of the water at the fireroad (where the
pipeline goes under the water), I spooked 3 eagles from a "kill" along the
close shore. They eventually flew to the other side. One was a white-headed
sub-adult, and 2 were juveniles. There were 2 adults at the nest on the far shore
(in line with the big com tower on the horizon), just changing egg-duty when
I got there. 5 total eagles, making this the most I have seen here at one
time!

Still lots of Common Mergs and a single Red-necked Grebe, as well as a
single DC Cormorant were seen. A flock of 36 Tundra Swans flew overhead heading
north too.
