I visited friends inTalbot Co Fri/Sat, about 8 miles south of St. Michaels. Among the regular birds at their feeders were a couple of Red-breasted Nuthatches. They had a number of feeders (suet, sunflower oil, thistle) grouped about a cedar (which was near a lot of pines). They also had

Carolina Wren
Dark-eyed Juncoes
Song Sparrow
Red-winged Blackbird
Brown-headed Cowbird

In Harris Creek, there were some 50+ Lesser Scaup.

There were about 15-20 Tundra Swan migrating north over head on Sat. morning (later in the afternoon, on the way home, there were about that number in a field alongside US 50).

Beautiful area!
