Hi all on the Way home from the Morning walk of the Talbot County Bird
Club . I Will Let Les Roslund Post about that . I stopped in at Pickering
Creek to search for the Northern Shrike . No luck with that . Birds seen
Lots of Green Winged Teal , My first of the year Drake Blue Winged Teal
in the wetlands Also a Male Redtailed Hawk pearched on a WoodDuck Box
in the Wetland area seemed to be a slightly paler color than most and
more white and less streaking on the breast and some white on the Back.
when finished here am going to do more research on that. However the
RedTailed sat on the Duck house preening its breast feathers also reached
around to its tail feathers pulling up to groom them. Than without warning
few to the Tower behind the wetland and landing on the Back off a female
Redtailed Hawk perched there. Unseen by Me till the male flew over there .
where they mated. quite a trilling sight . Birds seen
