Last Saturday, a pair of Osprey claimed one of the nesting platforms on Cash Lake (the same platform used last year). They've been arranging branches on old nest getting ready to add new
material. The past two days, both the male and the female have been observed eating KOIs.
Wonder where they're finging kois, maybe the Beltsville Agriculture Research Center?
 
I've added a photo to my Patuxent website gallery (see below, a shot of the female) ... eventually I plan to create a separate gallery of Osprey shots.
