Highlight of this morning's pond circuit was a pair of Wood Ducks.
Also witnessed some intense air-to-air combat between two male Bluebirds.
After driving off his rival, the victor entered the nest box briefly and
then perched on top. A female observed all this from a tree limb above.

The usual Cowbirds, Cardinals, Song Sparrows, Juncos, Doves, Chickadees and
rowdy Geese were present. The usual Red-bellied Woodpeckers & Flickers
however, were absent. Or asleep.
