Little Gulls were present through out the afternoon on the Susquehanna River
spending most their time on the Port Deposit side of the River. However,
the birds could be picked out flying up river from Lapidum with out much
difficulty. There are at least three adults. The Black-headed Gull was the
only one in breeding plumage today, making it easy to find at any time this
afternoon. It was best viewed from Lapidum Landing. The Red-necked Grebe
was easily seen from Port Deposit.
