Hello
I took a short walk by that lake this morning and saw first my year's first Tree Swallows flying above it. I saw 3.
Next, among the several Ring-billed Gulls flying around I saw some gulls that definately looked smaller. I thought at first they would be Laughing Gulls. But when I walked to a spot that some gulls were standing and walking around, I saw through my binoculars that the small gulls had red legs. Bonaparte's Gulls right? They had black bills too, and the 'ear' spots. There were at least 4 of them.
I also saw an Eastern Phoebe over there. That was the 2nd one I'd seen so far this year.
