I visited the New Windsor wetlands this morning.  Most of the weedy areas have been mowed and planted with trees.  The following birds were seen:

Great Blue Heron  1
Turkey Vulture  1
Canada Goose  15
Mallard  12
Blue-winged Teal  3, arrival
Killdeer  3
Snipe  6
Tree Swallow  4, arrival
Barn Swallow  1, arrival
Song Sparrow  15, all on territory
Red-winged Blackbird  15, all males on territory
Common Grackle  1
