As of 11:00 AM, there was at least one Little Gull still present at
Lapidum. The water is high because of the runoff from this week's rains.
There are 15 floodgates open at Conowingo Dam. Rt. 222 from the dam to
Port Deposit is closed because of flooding. The gulls are more spread
out and farther downstream than they were last week. I think there are
fewer Bonaparte's Gulls present today than before but there are lots of
other gulls present, mostly Ringed-bills. Last week, about the only
gulls present were the Bonaparte's. If you come, bring a scope and dress
warmly - it's cold by the water.
