A walk along the C&O Canal at Nolands Ferry produced the following sightings:

Wood Duck  8 at least
Phoebe  4
Fish Crow  2
Brown Creeper  1
Golden-crowned Kinglet  4, probably starting to migrate
Yellow-rumped Warbler  2
Yellow Palm Warbler  2, my first of the season
Junco  2

   At Lilypons:

Great Blue Heron  2
Canada Goose  80 residents, 1 nest with 4 eggs, 1 nest with 5 eggs
Bald Eagle  1 immature
Killdeer  1
Purple Martin  3, my first of the season
Tree Swallow  15
Barn Swallow  1
Swamp Sparrow  2
