While driving through Owings Mills two weeks I noticed a Great Blue Heron
standing on one of the two nest left from last year.  There are now four
nest in the same tree and what appears to be a fifth under construction.   I
saw three herons today: one heron sat on a nest, another stood over a second
nest, while a the third stood on a branch.
