   Thanks Gail, Barry, and Clive.  I was hoping there would be other
opinions on the gull at Centennial.  J. B. Churchill also sent me a note
reaching the same conclusion you did that the apparent larger size of the
bird was an optical illusion.  Sorry we can't make it a Black-headed, June.
At least your photos made this a good exercise.
