I've been observing a small pond near Burkittsville (FRED CO), MD this
spring.  Location is on Catholic Church Rd south of the intersection with
Gapland Rd.  I don't have Delorme, but Mapquest can locate that intersection
with zip 21755.

Present yesterday were:
Blue-winged teal
Hooded Merg - female, 2nd day present
Mallards
And an unidentified swallow "dipping" in the pond on the wing just as i was
leaving

Present in recent weeks were:
Can geese (pair)
Hooded Merg - male for several days
1 Snipe
Am Widgeons

Nearby on Lees Lane in another pond yesterday were 3 B-w teal
