This morning I had a close encounter with a female Wild Turkey --
almost much closer than I wanted -- with the windshield of my car.
I was heading North on Rte 80 and was just past the large
antenna array when two turkeys decided it was time to cross the road.
The first one only missed my windshield by a foot because I slammed
on my brakes.
