Waterfowl and new arrivials. Birds there.

Latter at 6:30 to about 7:10 ish I went to Pickering Creek in Talbot County
to look for the Common Teal which is the Eurasian form of Green
Winged Teal, after some searching it was located in the fock of Green
Winged Teals and Blue Wings. Had great looks through the spotting scope but
at a distance. I tried to photograph it But it hangs out just far enough
out and moves enough for that to not workout. In fact this was The third try
to see the bird And second try to get a picture. I first tried on sat
April 2 between Rain drops in the morning . the Green Wing Teal were
there and no sooner than I started Scoping them than an immature Bald
Eagle was soaring around an scared all the Teal off .
On Mon April 4, 05 I tried again in the afternoon 6;00 Pm to 7:00 pm
after rather short search the bird was located but soon vanished not to
seen again that day. Once the Common Teal was found it was easy to
compare the slightly smaller size compared to the Green winged Teal and see
the longitudinal white stripe on the scapulars. it was a life Subspecies
