Folks

At Allen's Fresh were about 7 Greater Yellowlegs, 15 Forster's Terns, and 40 Bonaparte's Gulls. A single immature Bald Eagle landed and every gull and tern took to flight.

I then stopped at the pumping station on Cobb Island today for about 30 minutes. Birds of note were:

Common Loon
Red-throated Loon
Northern Gannet - 20
Surf Scoter - 6
Horned Grebe - 3

At the Breeze Point sewage treatment plant there were about 300 Bonaparte's Gulls but I was unable to scan them carefully. The attendants asked me to leave since they were having a problem with the ponds. A lass - another day.

At Hadden Creek Road at the Wicomico River a small flock of Ruddy Ducks and a single Canvasback was the highlight.

Rick - send that Swallow-tailed Kite south, please.

And no Ralph the Raven for three days. Black and Turkey Vultures finished the last Possum off early.
