Hi  All upon leaving work   yesterday 4 - 12 - 05  driving on Carmichael 
Rd got between  Arrington Rd and  Hunters Oak Golf course entrance  I  
stoped at a rain pond for shorebirds  . Across the road from the  golf 
course  is  a farm field with a nice  water puddle from the recent rains .  
Birds there


Canada Goose 2
Mallard          2
Greater Yellowleggs      31
Lesser Yellow Leggs        2        year birds for me
Common  Snipe            15      at least    everytime I counted them  got a 
different number
                                            due to their  moving  around in 
the  grasses
Spotted Sandpiper   1        still in winter plumage
Robin             1
Red winged Blackbird       20
