Hi all,
I took a quick around the mash this afternoon, but it was eerily quiet,
except for the waterfowl on the ponds. The small pond within the park held a few
Buffleheads and a Mallard, but the big pond inside the landfill had a nice
assortment, but small numbers. There were about 8 each of Ring-necked Ducks
and Lesser Scaup (all paired up), and 10 pairs of Green-winged Teal and a single
pair of Blue-winged Teal, along with more Mallards.
Otherwise not much.
