More Queen Annes Birding SHORT-EARED OWL

Visited those puddles in Queens Annes again today and still no ruff.  But I 
did find some good stuff for only 1 hour of birding.  The short-eared owl 
was definitely the biggest surprise of the day.  I saw it flying across a 
field on rt 481 right off of rt 309.
Other highlights:
At least 100 total greater yellowlegs
+50 snipe
10 pectoral sand.
2 least sand.
4 Dunlin
20 lesser yellowlegs
6 Am. widegon
1 Vesper Sparrow
