A beautiful afternoon at the aquatic gardens, although a little windy. Saw and or heard the following:
 
DC Cormorant - 2 or 3 flyovers
Can Goose
Mallard
Great Blue Herron- 2 birds up by the visitors center
Red-Shouldered Hawk
Osprey - 2 birds on the prowl for most of the hour I was there
Turkey Vulture
Rock Pigeon
Mourning Dove
Red-Bellied Woodpecker - heard only
YS Flicker - heard only
Downy Woodpecker - heard only
Barn Swallow
Tree Swallow
Rough-Winged Swallow
Chimney Swift
Car Chickadee
Fish Crow (I suspect American as well, but didn't hear them)
Blue Jay
Carolina Wren - heard only
Mockingbird
American Robin
Red-Winged Blackbird
Common Grackle
Starling
House Sparrow
Cardinal
Towhee
Song Sparrow
White-Throated Sparrow -heard only
 
No warblers or interesting waders were available for comment.
