I just stepped outside the lab here at SERC (0955). I've been trying to
add to my Anne Arundel list which I started when I began my new job here
last August. I'm still looking for a Broad-winged Hawk so I've been
scanning the skies since they seem to be moving in numbers now. Anyway,
I was stunned to see seven Anhingas spiraling upward in a thermal! I
watched them for a little while then went back in to grab my binoculars.
Unfortunately, by the time I came back out, they were gone. They were
heading north so anyone in Parole should keep an eye on the sky.
