Hello Birders,
Finally, finally saw that one warbler I didn't have- the Hooded Warbler!
Saw 1 male (breeding plumage) foraging 2 feet from ground, among some large fallen trees
in tangles of vines. Location near Dewey Rec Area, behind soccer fields on footpath.
Other migrants/locals:
Brown Thrasher
Canada Warbler
Winter Wren
Blue Jay
Red shouldered Hawk
Wood thrush
Rufous-sided Towhee
Blue gray gnatcatcher
4 Rusty Blackbirds (Ken Gar Rec Area)
Belted Kingfisher
parula Warbler

D.Ford. Bethesda, Md
