SCARLET TANAGER singing in my yard this morning along with the newly arrived WOOD THRUSHES. A short stop at Hall Creek NRMA in Dunkirk found a beautiful male SUMMER TANAGER seen and heard by me and Bob and Carol Churi. Still waiting for hummers or Anhingas for that matter.

At least one PURPLE FINCH lingers at the feeder and WILD TURKEYS gobbling somewhere in the ravine.
