Hi All,

I have been cooped up at home most of this week. Thank goodness for today's cold front, it seems to have stymied migrants sufficiently to have them come to me for once. We have had six Purple Finches at our feeders including two adult males, and five Chipping Sparrows (a good count in our yard). We also had singing Blue-headed and Red-eyed Vireos in the trees out back. There was a Black-and-white Warbler here yesterday. Nancy and I finally put up our hummingbird feeders today, we'll see if any take the bait.

Good Birding,

Walter Ellison
