Greetings,

I spent a couple hours pushing my daughter (she's 14 months) through the
Susquehanna State Park in Harford County yesterday. I had 59 species,
which I felt was good considering the little effort made and the december
like weather. Gnatcatchers were everwhere. they seemed more like gnats
then gnatcathers! I also had 7 species of warbler including at least three
Yellow-throateds. Others were: (eastern) Palm, Yellow-rumped, Prarie,
Pine, Black and White, and Parula. No vireos of flycathcers yet. Zero
butterflies too, but the weather is surely to blame for the wild flowers
seem to be peaking right now. at least 12 species of flower were id'd
including one Jack-in-the-pulpit and loads of ginger!

-Good Birding,
Chris Starling
