Thought it was yet another chipper -- especially since it was sitting on fence posts and dropping to the ground --but the yellow breast kept me looking and moving closer. It was a Palm Warbler in the "western" plumage. This and hearing a Yellow Warbler were our first warblers for the year in our "yard" (a large farm behind our house).
